Lincoln University Nigeria is seeking an experienced Networking & CCTV Engineering Specialist to train and mentor students through hands-on, practical instruction.

The ideal candidate is an industry professional with strong field experience in networking and surveillance systems who can translate real-world knowledge into engaging classroom and lab sessions.

Key ResponsibilitiesPractical Teaching & Lab Instruction
Deliver hands-on training in networking fundamentals and advanced concepts
Teach practical configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
Conduct live demonstrations of network setup, troubleshooting, and security implementation
Train students on structured cabling, IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN configuration, and network monitoring
CCTV & Surveillance Systems Training
Teach installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems
Conduct live demonstrations of IP camera setup, NVR/DVR configuration, and remote access
Guide students in surveillance system design and deployment projects
Provide real-world case studies and field-based simulations
Curriculum & Student Development
Develop lab exercises and practical assessment materials
Supervise student projects related to networking and CCTV deployment
Prepare students for relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+, CCTV certifications)
Mentor students on industry best practices and safety standards
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, IT, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
Minimum 1–5 years of practical industry experience in networking and CCTV systems
Strong hands-on expertise in routers, switches, firewalls, IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems
Experience in structured cabling and network security implementation
Professional certifications (CCNA, Network+, or relevant technical certifications) are an advantage
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Passion for teaching and mentoring students
