    Job Description:

    A highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is required to join RALDS and AGATE LIMITED, with a focus on static and rotating equipment in upstream oil and gas operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules for mechanical equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, pipelines, valves, heat exchangers, and other systems.
    • Conduct regular inspections, predictive, and preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
    • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities, including equipment history and performance metrics.
    • Diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing rapid solutions to minimize operational interruptions.
    • Oversee the repair and replacement of defective equipment and components, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
    • Coordinate with vendors and external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
    • Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs to enhance asset integrity and extend equipment life.
    • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR) for continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance that is in line with industry standards.
    • Certification in maintenance management (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional - CMRP) is an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems commonly found in upstream oil and gas operations, including rotating and static equipment.
    • Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, NACE, and ISO related to mechanical equipment maintenance and integrity.
    • Proficiency in scheduling software and proven track record in resource management, work order management, and planning of preventive and corrective maintenance.
    • In-depth understanding of maintenance processes and equipment in oil and gas production facilities.
    • Knowledge of rotating and static equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
    • Ability to analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
    • Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with maintenance activities.
