    Responsibilities:

    Financial Recordkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.


    Bookkeeping:

  • Record financial transactions, including income, expenses, and other financial activities.
  • Ensure proper classification of transactions and adherence to accounting principles.


    Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures.


    Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to provide insights into the financial health of the organization.
  • Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.


    Tax Compliance:

  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to maximize tax efficiency.


    Auditing:

  • Participate in internal or external audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare audit schedules and assist auditors during the audit process.


    Financial Reporting:

  • Generate and distribute financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Present financial information to management, stakeholders, or regulatory authorities.


    Account Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.


    Payroll Processing:

  • Oversee payroll processes, including calculating wages, deductions, and ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations.


    Cost Control:

  • Monitor and analyze costs to identify areas for cost control and efficiency improvement.
