    JOB SUMMARY

    Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 3 years in the snacks sector. Proven experience with extruded snack production; experience with baked or fried snacks is acceptable. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality management systems.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join the team. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Reporting directly to the Managing Director/Owner. You will play a pivotal role in driving the production operations forward.DutiesProduction Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Create production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines and deadlines.Quality Control: Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure product quality meets company standards. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve production processes and streamline operations for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.Team Leadership: Lead and motivate production teams to achieve production targets and KPIs. Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and skill sets.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards in all production activities. Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to protocols among production staff.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock of raw materials and finished goods. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.Communication and Reporting: Maintain open and transparent communication channels with senior management, providing regular updates on production performance, challenges, and opportunities. Prepare and present production reports and analysis as required.
