    QualificationsRequired Skills & Attributes: Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering, business administration, or related field preferred. 3-5 years experience in technical sales, preferably within the industrial machinery or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of grinding and welding processes, equipment, and applications. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory. Experience in a similar role is an advantage. Business-level fluency in major Nigerian languages, a plus.


    Husk is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Associate to join the growing team in Nigeria. The individual will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of big Load appliances (i.e. grinding & welding machines, Freezers etc.) to potential clients. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. You need to be a team player and have a problem-solving attitude. The individual should also be passionate about contributing to solving one of Nigeria's most critical challenges - the energy access deficit. Key DutiesGeneral: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for Appliances. Identify and prospect potential customers within the designated territory or market segment. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients through regular communication and visits. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of our machines. Collaborate with the technical support team to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide technical assistance as needed. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth. Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required by management. Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and expand the company's presence in the market. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and initiatives to support sales efforts. Continuously strive to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and professional skills through training and self-development activities.
