    JOB SUMMARY

    Requirements Relevant certifications or qualifications in welding and fabrication are a plus. Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of related processes and techniques. Previous supervisory or management experience in a workshop environment is preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding and fabrication.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    As the Assistant Workshop Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our welding and fabrication workshop. Working closely with the Workshop Manager, you will oversee various aspects of production, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of workshop activities. Supervising and providing guidance to workshop staff, including welders, fabricators, and technicians. Monitoring workflow and resource allocation to optimize productivity and efficiency. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conducting quality inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed. Assisting in inventory management and procurement of materials and supplies. Collaborating with other departments to meet project requirements and deadlines. Providing technical support and training to workshop personnel as required. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and performance.
