    Description

    • Recruit a hybrid team of creative designers, digital marketers, and traditional master-tailors.

    • Design an onboarding program that teaches every new hire the brand's history, values, and global mission.

    • Oversee the working conditions, fair-pay structures, and health/safety for the production team and external artisans.

    • Implement and manage monthly OKR/KPI reviews to ensure the team meets global quality standards.

    • Manage monthly payroll, including specific Nigerian statutory requirements (Pension, NHF, PAYE).

    • Organize workshops to teach the team about global luxury standards, western fashion calendars, and etiquette.

    • Mediate internal disputes between different departments (e.g., Production vs. Marketing) to maintain a harmonious flow.

    • Draft and enforce an Employee Handbook that covers everything from remote work to social media conduct.

    • Ensure the company stays compliant with Nigerian Labor Laws and international Ethical Fashion certifications.

    • Create incentive programs (bonuses, Employee of the Month, or skill-sharing workshops) to keep top talent from leaving.

    • Provide one-on-one coaching for department heads to improve their management and communication skills.

    • Ensure the physical office or workshop environment is inspiring, safe, and reflects the brand's aesthetic.

    • Regularly identify where the team is lacking (e.g., 3D pattern making or digital CRM skills) and source relevant training.

    • Identify high-potential employees and create growth maps to move them into leadership roles as the brand scales.

    • Ensure the brand's internal team reflects the diverse, inclusive values it projects to the world.



    Requirements

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, or related field

    • Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, labor law, and compliance

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Competence in HR tools and systems


    Years of Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in human resources management



    Soft Skills & Personality Traits:

    • Empathetic yet firm, goal-oriented, organized

    • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach

    • Good judgment and discretion in people matters
