    Job Description

    • Working within a project team environment, potentially on multiple projects.
    • Proactively performing expediting activities to ensure the delivery of equipment, materials, services, and related documentation.
    • Developing and maintaining status reports.
    • Attending and potentially managing purchase order kick-off meetings.
    • Attending local expediting visits, as required.
    • Closing purchase orders.
    • Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order.
    • Reviewing material and service invoices for accuracy.
    • Coordinating transportation and logistics, as required.
    • Performing other duties as requested
    • Leading purchase order kick-off meetings
    • Expediting purchase orders, as required
    • Initiating the close-out of purchase orders
    • Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order.
    • Attending status meetings with clients, project management and suppliers.
    • Mentoring, supporting and guiding staff.
    • Assisting the procurement lead in the development or improvement of corporate work processes and procedures.
    • Performing other duties as requested by the company.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement.
    • Strong understanding of business processes.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
