    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth and maximize sales opportunities within the modern trade channel.
  • Identify key accounts and target market segments for expansion, taking into account market trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and product development initiatives.

    Sales Development:

  • Lead the acquisition of new accounts and the development of existing accounts within the modern trade channel.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, buyers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and position our products effectively.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional agreements to drive sales volume and profitability.

    Team Leadership:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the modern trade sales team, setting clear objectives, targets, and KPIs.
  • Motivate and coach team members to achieve individual and collective sales goals, providing support and resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and implement development plans to enhance team capabilities.

    Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Stay abreast of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities within the modern trade channel.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and process improvement.
  • Utilize market insights to develop targeted sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product innovations.


    Collaboration and Communication:

  • Foster strong relationships and effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, including marketing, finance, supply chain, and product development teams.
  • Coordinate with trade marketing teams to develop promotional materials, merchandising strategies, and trade promotions to drive sales.


    Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of diploma in any discipline
  • 2 years of working experience
