JOB SUMMARY
Qualifications / ExperienceFirst Degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Sciences or related field or related field of studyAdvanced Degree in Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Parisitology Epidemiology or related field of studyA minimum of 7 years of experience professional experienceDemonstrated experience of planning and management of malaria programming in developing countries including Nigeria. Experience from African countries will be an assetStrong knowledge and experience of delivering or providing technical assistance for the diagnosis and management of uncomplicated and complicated/severe malaria and prevention including Intermittent Preventive Treatment to pregnant women (IPTp) in accordance with the most current national protocols and treatment regimensFamiliarity with analytical tools and ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical approaches for operational workKnowledge of Nigerian language.Compensation & BenefitsThe compensation package for this position is very attractive and designed to attract, motivate and retain talented professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Lead Clinical Care will support the management and implementation of the programme at national, state and community levels.The Programme Lead Clinical Care will be responsible for coordinating and mobilising all programme activities in the communities in the intervention states to ensure they are successfully implemented to meet programme goals and objectives.
