Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting various accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Perform daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and provide insights to management
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls
• Support external audit activities as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Relevant certification e.g., ICAN, ACCA preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software e.g., QuickBooks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
