JOB SUMMARY

OND / HND / B.Sc in relevant course.3 - 4 years proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or retail environment.Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Close proximity to the job location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and storing goods, and maintaining organized and efficient storage facilities.Your role is critical in ensuring that all products are readily available for distribution or sale while maintaining accurate records of stock levels and transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries.Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring efficient use of space and proper handling of products.Conduct regular stock counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.Implement inventory control measures to prevent loss, theft, or damage to goods.Ensure proper packaging and protection of goods to prevent damage during storage or transportation.Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments and update inventory systems accordingly.Prepare shipping documentation and labels as required for domestic or international shipments.Keep storage facilities clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
