    JOB SUMMARY

    Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study. Associate or membership certification from ICAN, ANAN or ACCAKnowledge, Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services or management consulting firm. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide insights. Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive financial information.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Job Description S/he will be responsible for preparing financial statements, alongside diverse reports for managerial insights and decision-making. S/he will assist in annual budgeting and forecasting while monitoring the organisation's financial performance and recommending solutions.Key Duties Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including project accounting, balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. Generate various financial reports and analysis to provide insights to management for decision-making purposes. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with management and other units to gather relevant information and ensure alignment with the organisation's goals and objectives. Monitor budget-to-actual performance to identify variances and provide explanations as well as recommendations for corrective actions. Prepare and submit accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal tax regulations. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure the organisation's tax strategies remain effective and compliant Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth audit process Analyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement and process improvement. Provide insights into financial performance and assist in making informed strategic decisions. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions and timely disbursement of employee salaries Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to industry best practices. Identify areas of inefficiency in financial processes and recommend and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
