    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced
    Broiler Farm Manager
    to lead end-to-end broiler operations — from grow-out to slaughter, chilling, storage, and dispatch. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, high-yield, and cost-efficient production that meets Lagos market demand and industrial off-taker specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan flock cycles, live weights, daily kill plans, and align feed, harvest, and sales forecasts.
    • Supervise processing line operations (scalding, plucking, evisceration, trimming, grading, portioning, packaging).
    • Manage cold-chain operations: blast chilling, cold-room racking, FIFO discipline, and defrost schedules.
    • Maintain strict hygiene, HACCP/SSOP compliance, and veterinary/NAFDAC regulatory standards.
    • Track yields, feed conversion ratios, condemnations, and reduce wastage/downtime.
    • Lead and train staff: pen managers, supervisors, and processing line workers.
    • Coordinate equipment maintenance and preventive schedules.
    • Oversee packaging, inventory control, and product dispatch.
    • Deliver accurate daily KPIs, variance reports, and weekly cost/margin updates.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • B.Sc./HND in Animal Science, Poultry Technology, Food Science, or related field.
    • 5–10+ years in broiler production/processing with cold-chain management.
    • Experience managing 2,000–5,000 birds/day line preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOPs, and Lagos market specifications.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems/spreadsheets; excellent leadership and coordination skills.

    Work Conditions

    • On-site, shift-based (including weekends/peak periods).
    • Hands-on floor presence during kill and loading windows.
    • Must be comfortable working in chilled environments under strict biosecurity protocols.
