    Description

    Job Summary
    :

    We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of quality strategy, automation frameworks, and performance validation across our software delivery lifecycle. Candidate will be expected to work closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to design and implement scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing QA processes that ensure the reliability and robustness of our platforms. 

    This role is quality-first with strong automation discipline, where the ideal candidate brings a shift-left mindset, deep experience in API and performance testing, and a drive for building a fault-tolerant and secure system with early defect detection and continuous test integration across CI/CD pipelines. 

    The ideal candidate is a technical leader in testing strategy, automation design, and cross-functional quality alignment. He/she must have exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills, thrive in fast-paced environments, and be driven by the pursuit of engineering excellence and quality maturity.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead test planning, strategy, and execution for major features or products.
    • Design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks (UI/API/Performance).
    • Drive CI/CD integration and test orchestration.
    • Analyze and report on product quality and release readiness.
    • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and Product Managers for defect prevention.
    • Perform code reviews for test scripts and mentor junior QA staff.
    • Advocate for quality across teams and support release decisions with data.
    • Perform risk analysis and impact assessments.
    • Investigate production issues, support root cause analysis, and prevent recurrences.
    • Define quality KPIs and report progress to stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years in QA/Testing with experience in agile environments.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven track record of implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
      • Experience in mentoring or leading small QA teams.
    • ISTQB or equivalent certification (preferred).
    • Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
    • Experience in the Energy Tech Industry is an advantage.
    • Solid communication and documentation skills

    Key Knowledge, Skill, and Attribute:

    • Expert in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured).
    • Strong scripting/programming (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
    • Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
    • Deep knowledge of test design techniques, performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
    • Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
    • Deep understanding of Agile, TDD/BDD, DevOps, and shift-left practices.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
