Job summary

We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a consulting and client-facing environment, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated to generate measurable business results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities across TerraFirma's verticals (business consulting, tech & platforms, design services, real estate development & marketing).
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop proposals, pitch decks, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve assigned revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Content, Product/Digital Solutions, Design) to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and client communications.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform business strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, client relations, or sales (consulting/real estate/design industry experience is a plus).
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales/revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in preparing and delivering professional presentations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup/consulting environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office/Google Workspace, and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Canva).
