**Job Description:**

We are seeking an Equity Analysis Specialist to join our team at Tees Talent Hub. As a specialist, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on publicly traded companies to inform investment decisions.

You will analyze financial statements, industry trends, and competitive positioning to estimate future earnings and cash flows. Your expertise in accounting, finance, and investing principles, combined with your exceptional analytical and communication skills, will enable you to provide insightful research findings and investment recommendations to our portfolio managers and analysts.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial statements, industry trends, and competitive positioning to estimate future earnings and cash flows.
• Develop and maintain financial models and databases to support research and analysis.
• Communicate research findings and investment recommendations to portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that impact the companies and industries being covered.
• Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to share research and insights.
• Participate in company meetings, conference calls, and industry events to gather information and insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related field.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or progress towards obtaining the designation.
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and investing principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify key trends and insights.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings and investment recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
