    Job Overview:

    • We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and accurately process transactions while providing exceptional customer service. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring that all payments are processed correctly and efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet customers entering the establishment.
    • Scan items, provide pricing information, and process customer purchases accurately.
    • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
    • Ensure that the cash register balances at the end of each shift.
    • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
    • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
    • Answer customer questions and provide information about products or services.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service.
    • Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
    • Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining inventory levels as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proven experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
    • Familiarity with POS systems and other cashier equipment preferred.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
