- Business Development and Lead Generation: Identify and target new business opportunities for Managed IT Services, including cloud solutions, network management, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting, qualifying leads, and building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Engage with potential clients through direct outreach, cold calling, networking events, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their managed IT service needs.
- Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand client requirements, business challenges, and technology needs.
- Present customized solutions that align with client objectives, addressing pain points such as IT downtime, security vulnerabilities, and scalability issues.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base for Managed IT Services.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, solutions architecture, and operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, RFPs, and pricing options to potential clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals and IT needs.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Managed IT Services landscape, including cloud services, data backup, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and market trends to provide clients with the most relevant and competitive solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during client engagements, providing insights into how managed IT services can address their business challenges.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through to closing, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Use CRM tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics) to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and update pipeline information.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible and meet client expectations.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, product launches, and service promotions.
- Engage with project managers and support teams to ensure smooth transitions from sales to service delivery.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and address any evolving IT service needs.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services, such as security monitoring, IT consulting, or cloud migration.
- Drive customer loyalty through consistent follow-up and support, positioning the company as a long-term partner for IT services.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Sales, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT sales, preferably with a focus on managed IT services, cloud computing, or IT consulting.
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of managed IT services, including network management, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative approach to selling.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot) for sales tracking and reporting.
