Job Title: CCTV Operator

Located in Ikeja, Lagos, this role is a Full-time position.

Responsibilities:

1. Effectively operate the Security CCTV System.
2. Thorough understanding of work equipment to enable deleting or archiving old footage as needed, organizing old footage in an orderly fashion, and switching out videotapes, compact discs, memory cards, hard drives or servers.
3. Efficiently manage storage, backups and correctly catalog all footage for easy recalling.
4. Watch video surveillance footage as it's being recorded.
5. Unwavering focus and observation to ensure witnessing of unusual, suspicious or questionable activities and make detailed notes.
6. Competently manage the CCTV Control room in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policy.
7. Be fully conversant with the layout of the area being monitored, aware of current threats and challenges.
8. Proficiently manage system DVR settings.
9. Effectively manage CCTV footage.
10. Provide video evidence for security management when required in a timely manner, in strict compliance with SOPs.
11. Good observation skills, with the ability to analyze visual information and react accordingly.
12. In the event of an incident, escalate as outlined within the SOPs.
