Description

• Provide legal advice and support on real estate transactions, including property sales, purchases, leases, and developments.
• Review and draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, deeds, and leases related to real estate transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in all real estate activities.
• Conduct due diligence on properties to identify any legal issues or risks that may affect transactions.
• Represent the firm in legal proceedings related to real estate matters, including disputes, litigation, and arbitration.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies on legal matters affecting the firm's real estate projects.
• Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations in Nigeria and advise the firm on potential impacts and compliance requirements.
• Assist in resolving legal issues and disputes that may arise during the course of real estate transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm, such as the finance and operations teams, to ensure legal compliance and risk management in real estate activities.
