    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting records, evaluate, and manage outlet risk, prepare outlet monthly financial statements, oversee accounting outlet operations, analyze financial data, monitor outlet expenditure, forecast revenue based on the finished products received at the front, and ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Provide controller-ship and guidance over the outlet operating costs, inventory management and capital expenditure requests in line with business strategic direction.
  • Posting of daily/weekly sales analysis journal and other details associated with sales, posting of daily/weekly petty cash expenses journal.
  • Achieve organizational targets, implement proper internal accounting controls at the outlet level to support organizational strategy.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business and financial spectrum including Audit, Operations, Stores, Production, and Outlet Managers to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
  • Review of Frontliner's sales summary sheet and reconcile with machine paper roll, cash collections, POS merchant's copy, and machine receipt.
  • Recording of cash mopped from the front liner into cash analysis register and signing of cash mopped on a shift basis.
  • Compile outlet suppliers' payments' requisition for head office process for payment.
  • Printing of daily machine sales total, counting of daily cash sales, and lodge to Bank and/or render to Wasoda for pick-up, monitor I.O.U stipulated clearance period compliance and follow up with the payee.
  • Liaise with Store keeper to raise material request form on ERPNext
  • Preparation of daily front page and CAH statement, daily/weekly cake and bread report, expected sales sheet, preparation of daily outlet expenses (Float) report, preparation of other manual reports to HO, payment of monthly salary.
  • Participating in monthly stock taking.
  • Any other duties as may be delegated by the Head Office Finance Team.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or any Finance related discipline.
  • Any Accounting professional qualification, partly qualified.
  • General Business Management qualification, such as membership of Chartered Institute of Administration, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) Chartered.
  • 2 - 5 years' experience, preferably in the QSR, hospitality or manufacturing industries.
  • Good knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
  • Good knowledge of Internal Control function, Corporate Governance.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
    • cost accounting experience and strong analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Broad knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
