    Description

    Job Title: Growth and Marketing Lead Job Summary We're looking for a strategic and execution-driven Growth and Marketing Lead to own and scale our user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies starting with a sharp focus on Rebble. You will lead marketing initiatives across digital, product, and community channels while working cross-functionally with product, operations, and customer success teams to drive measurable business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Own and execute growth strategy for Rebble, focusing on customer acquisition, activation, and retention across Nigeria and broader African markets.

    Build and optimize performance marketing campaigns across paid search, social, affiliate, and influencer channels.

    Develop go-to-market strategies for new product features, geographic expansions, and partnerships.

    Work with product and data teams to analyze user behavior, segment audiences, and drive lifecycle marketing efforts (email, push, retargeting).

    Build and lead a marketing team, including content, brand, and community functions.

    Manage budgets, performance metrics, and reporting across all campaigns.

    Identify and engage high-value user segments (e.g., crypto traders, freelancers, remittance senders) and tailor acquisition funnels accordingly.

    Develop strategic partnerships with exchanges, payment providers, and financial influencers to expand Rebble's reach and credibility.

    Own Syarpa's brand voice, storytelling, and content across all platforms.

    Requirements

    5+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or product marketing roles, ideally in fintech, crypto, or emerging markets.

    Proven track record of building and scaling user acquisition channels with data-backed results.

    Strong understanding of the crypto/fiat landscape in Africa—especially on/off-ramp dynamics, liquidity challenges, and user behavior.

    Experience with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, GA4), and A/B testing frameworks.

    Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

    Comfortable working with limited resources while thinking big and executing quickly.

    Exceptional communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills.

    Bonus: Experience growing financial or crypto products in emerging markets.
