Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician with up to 2 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality, comfort, and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, chillers, heaters, and ventilation units.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system performance issues in HVAC equipment.
• Test HVAC systems for leaks, airflow, thermostat function, and refrigerant levels.
• Calibrate thermostats, controls, and system settings for optimal performance.
• Replace or repair worn-out parts such as motors, belts, bearings, filters, and compressors.
• Respond promptly to service requests, emergency breakdowns, and system failures.
• Maintain accurate logs of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Provide technical support and recommendations on system improvements and energy-saving solutions.
• Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of new HVAC systems and upgrades.
• Train end-users or staff on the proper use and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for spare parts and technical assistance.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective measures.
  Support other facility maintenance operations when required.
