    Description

    Logistics Officer – Renewable Energy (Solar)

    Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site)

    Industry: Renewable Energy

    Location: VI, Lagos

    You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, including the importation, storage, and distribution of goods. You will ensure accurate inventory management, warehouse security, and on-time delivery of products to customers while maintaining high standards of record-keeping and documentation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the importation and customs clearance of goods, including preparing PI, purchasing insurance, applying for FORM M, PAAR, and liaising with freight forwarders.
    • Monitor customs clearance progress and ensure goods are unloaded and transported from ports to warehouses efficiently.
    • Manage warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory counting.
    • Ensure alignment between physical inventory and financial data.
    • Implement security measures and insurance for warehouse operations to safeguard goods.
    • Oversee the delivery of goods to customers and monitor logistics progress until orders are signed off by customers.
    • Maintain accurate records and safekeeping of customs clearance, inventory, and delivery-related documents.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
    • Understanding of water meter solutions.
    • Strong organizational and sales skills.
    • Proficient in preparing and delivering independent presentations.
