JOB SUMMARY

Relevant Technical Qualification / Diploma / HND / BSc1-2 years relevant work experience and/or on the job training.Experience within a Brewing / FMCG industry

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key purpose of this role is to operate, maintain, and plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality, maintain equipment and process control equipment systems in the Brewing and E&F plant and conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on measurement and control.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a Safe and Healthy Working Environment:Comply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislationMaintain safety and housekeeping standardsMaintain, Repair, and Optimise Plant and Associated Devices:Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation systemsPlan and prepare the jobCarry out repairs or maintenanceContinuously improve (optimize) plant, process equipment and systemsOperate Process:Prepare for productionOperate and monitor machine performanceStart up machinesRun the machinesPerform brand and pack changeCarry out machine lubricationEnsure cleaning of machinesOptimize Production Performance:Interpret and implement the production plan for the shiftMeasure and record performance attributesOptimize usage of resourcesSupport the team to improve process qualityFacilitate team problem-solvingMonitor trends and initiate corrective actionPerform running schedules.Apply the VPO Principles and Practices:Apply 5S standards and practices in the workplaceOperate and control the process according to SOP'sConduct autonomous maintenance.Manage quality at sourceImprove personal competence and flexibilityMaintain a safe and healthy work environmentApply Problem-Solving Processes:Utilize short interval control to identify problemsApply problem-solving techniques to resolve situational problems
