    JOB SUMMARY

    Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a related field; experience in managing an Information Technology operation is required. At least 1 year experience in the field of information technology. Knowledge of system development methods used for the development of new systems and enhancements to existing information systems. Knowledge of computer monitoring systems, vendor-supplied packaged programs, macros, utilities, and other highly technical programs. Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions. Ability to use programming procedures and techniques in the implementation of computer programs.Other Competencies: Time Management – Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and complete projects in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision. Quality Management - Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively. Adaptability - adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Other software routinely used by Heartland Alliance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Essential Duties and Duties Provide Tier 2 IT support. Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other organizational systems. Install and troubleshoot printers and scanners. Assist with troubleshooting and providing support to users. Organize and maintain IT resources and inventory. Assist in performing hands-on fixes of desktop and laptop computers, including installation and upgrades of software and general systems installations.
