Role Overview

As a Waiter/Waitress at Farmers Kitchen, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. You'll provide attentive service, share menu knowledge, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our values of freshness, friendliness, and farm-inspired charm.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
• Present menus and explain daily specials or recommendations
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen
• Serve meals and drinks promptly and courteously
• Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints gracefully
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus
• Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
• Basic math skills for handling payments
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage
