JOB SUMMARY

Disciplined control room operator with sufficient experience in Delta V systems.Experience with power generation and distributionExperience with solar turbines.Strong safety cultureGood understanding for gas processes and safe work practices in a gaseous environmentSomeone willing to stay in the position for a long time.Minimum level of experience required3 years or moreRequired authorizations:Valid medical certificateBasic Fire FightingBasic First AidExperience with DeltaV

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that HSE rules and procedures are followed.Ensures a strong safety culture is respected on site by all personnel.Ensures that personnel follow strict safety protocols when accessing the plant.Responding to alarms and able to conduct / execute emergency response procedures when necessary.Maintains a log book and register to record all activities, shut-downs, alarms, inhibitions, personnel access and maintenance activities in the plant.Monitors and inspects plant equipment to ensure that all of the power plants equipment and peripheries are running as per design and safe parameters.Reports any issues or defects to the CSR to ensure that the correct actions are launched to remedy / rectify the issues. Prepare data and information for the daily, weekly and monthly reports.
