- To ensure that all welds are flawless,
- Coordinate, Supervise and monitor production team members.
- Interpret, explain fabrication drawing to the production team.
- Ensure that fabrication platforms & jigs are properly set.
- To ensure that quality and schedule of work meets customers/SCNL standards
- Weld components and framework using a variety of welding processes.
- Take daily production report and submit all reports to assistant Production Manager.
- Position, align and fit parts according to specifications.
- Grind, sand, polish and detail fabrications to required finish using hand and power tools to a high standard.
- Measure and examine completed work to verify conformance to specifications.
- All Fabrications tasks are to be completed in the agreed quoted time frames or better.
- Operation of manual machine tools, as part of the fabrication process when required.
- Machines to be kept in a tidy and well-maintained manner, which would require maintenance from time to time.
- To ensure that all welders adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- To ensure that daily work schedules are achieved with high percentage completion.
- To ensure that disciplinary measures are implemented.
- To ensure that Management directives are implemented.
- To ensure close monitoring of attendance, job handover and receipt.
- To ensure that efforts are made at promptly delivery of high-quality work.
- To make sure that Toolbox meetings are held before commencement of work.
- To ensure that welders signs all necessary tools from stores and returned back after use
- To ensure effective communication between the line supervisors.
- To see that company's values of safety, quality, integrity and schedule are met.
