    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at Travel Kulture, a supermarket in Lagos. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market, excellent supplier management skills, and the ability to source high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Source high-quality products at competitive prices to ensure optimal profit margins and customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and secure reliable product sourcing.
    • Identify fast-moving goods and adjust procurement strategies accordingly to maximize sales and minimize waste.
    • Familiarize yourself with company policies on stock levels and ensure compliance to prevent overstocking or understocking.
    • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for Travel Kulture.
    • Ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demands and expectations.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment with a similar scope and scale.
    • Strong knowledge of the local market and current trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and challenges, and develop effective solutions.
