    Description
    • We are looking to engage a Strategy & Planning Analyst to support the implementation of Axxela's medium-term business plan as well as monitor and report on the execution of other corporate plans.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • We are looking to engage a Strategy and Planning Analyst to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic and business plans for Axxela. The incumbent supports the Strategy and Planning Manager in carrying out Axxela's strategy, planning, and corporate performance monitoring function.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support the development of the organisation's strategic plan, including long-term and annual views.
    • Support the Strategy and Planning Manager in coordinating business planning, goal setting and forecasting, initiative prioritisation, and performance tracking and reporting across the organisation.
    • Research and analyse market trends relating to the organisation's business and overall strategy.
    • Provide support and insight into significant organisational changes e.g., the shift in strategic focus, mergers, and acquisitions.
    • Coordinate annual corporate retreats and brainstorming sessions on specific company initiatives.
    • Facilitate collaborative development of cross-asset strategies, initiatives, and contingency plans.
    • Assist in the development of business proposals, operational business requirements, and business plans per asset as well as ensure successful execution of the initiatives created, as required.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for generating incremental value for the company.
    • Support the development of business/investment cases for new frontier opportunities and other strategic opportunities.

    Essential Requirements:

    • 1st degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
    • Minimum three years' experience in strategic planning, business process optimisation, finance or related fields
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Ability to develop simple business plans
    • Ability to develop simple quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models.
