    Description

    Overview

    To deploy Sales Business plans and in-store Fundamentals with customers within an assigned territory or channel in order to maximize the consumption of our brands and achieve company's sales objectives.

    Responsibilities

    Execution of In-Store Fundamentals:

    • Ensure Transmed products are shelved with the right visibility shelf share and planogram across assigned stores in line with the brand's shelf share, planogram and placement guidelines.
    • Successfully implements and executes the Monthly Initiatives across assigned stores on Time as per the plans deployed by the Head Office Sales team.

    Customer Coverage and Penetration:

    • Ensuring 100% coverage of stores as per assigned journey plan.
    • Ensuring the SFA tool My Store is used as per the defined guidelines along with 100% accuracy.
    • Secure that receivables are collected across assigned stores within the agreed payment terms in order to sustain the company's cash flow levels.
    • Build & maintain strong customer relations to facilitate collaboration and the achievement of desired business results.

    Merchandisers Efficiency:

    • Guide and ensure the appearance, discipline, attendance, and professionalism of the assigned In-store Merchandising team, thereby ensuring prompt Customer Coverage and Service.

    Market Intelligence and Competitive Reporting:

    • Communicate internally to the Head Office Sales team any event taken by customers/competitors that can have an impact on our business in order to take the required action

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of B.Sc / HND.
    • Possess 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the FMCG distribution sector part of which must be in a supervisory role.
    • Experience selling to retailers, Wholesalers, and Distributors in the FMCG Sector is mandatory.
    • Practical knowledge of Sales Fundamentals, Persuasive Selling Format, steps of a Call, and Objection Handling in the FMCG sector is required. The ability to use a handheld sales device is an added advantage.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook is an added advantage.
    • Strong Organizational and Planning Skills.
