German Language Teacher in an International Secondary School

JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teacher to join our international secondary school.

As a German Language Teacher in our school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students from various cultural backgrounds.

Our school uses the National Curriculum for England and Wales which promotes academic excellence.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to diverse teaching styles to create a stimulating learning environment.

This relationship may consist of getting to know your students better, providing choices, and encouraging the students to become stronger learners every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum guidelines
• Provide individualized attention and support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assess student progress and performance through a variety of methods, such as exams, projects, and presentations
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback on their academic performance
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and evaluate educational materials and resources
• Support students in their social and emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and attendance
• Communicate regularly and effectively with students' parents or guardians regarding their academic progress and development
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and grades

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of the [specific subject] curriculum

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Valid International Teaching Certification
