- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, following all legal requirements and ethical guidelines.
- Provide counseling to patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Monitor medication therapy outcomes and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
- Conduct medication reviews and identify opportunities for medication therapy management interventions.
- Maintain inventory control and ensure adequate stock levels of medications and pharmaceutical supplies in both pharmacy and supermarket settings.
- Verify order entries, maintain records of controlled substances, and remove expired or damaged drugs from the pharmacy's inventory.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
- Work 4 times a week.
- Bachelor's degree BSc in Pharmacology or related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in community pharmacy practice.
- Proven experience in community pharmacy.
- Experience in community pharmacy practice and proximity to location is an added advantage.
- Must be ready to resume immediately.
