    N.U.E Offshore Resources Limited is a leading organization specializing in maritime security, dedicated to ensuring the safety and protection of global maritime assets.

    Our work spans across vessel security, anti-piracy operations, and compliance with international maritime laws.

    We are seeking a skilled corporate Legal Analyst to join our team and ensure our operations adhere to all relevant legal frameworks, while effectively managing legal risks in the maritime domain.

    Responsibilities
    Ensure the legality of commercial transactions.
    Advise cooperation on their legal rights and duties.
    Ensure Employers confidentiality must be maintained.
    Analyses and preparation of memorandum of understanding with partners/clients.
    Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
    Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses.
    Analyze the probable outcomes of cases, using knowledge of legal precedents.
    Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
    Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
    Confer colleagues with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issue to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings.
    Act as agent, trustee, guardian or executor for businesses or individuals.
    Prepare legal briefs, develop strategies, arguments, and testimony in preparation of presentation for case.
    Work closely with other heads of department in ensuring efficient running of the organization.
    Involvement in other aspects of the business.
    Prepare weekly report and present to management at weekly meetings.
    Work closely with the document control department in ensuring all legal documents are up to date.
    Prepare monthly audit reports on all statutory and NIMASA documents/ certificates.

    Qualifications
    Proficiency in Law and Legal Document Preparation
    Strong Analytical Skills and experience with Contractual Agreements
    Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
    Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
    Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Maritime sector is a plus
    Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) or related field
