    Role Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and professional Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in the Festac, Amuwo, Satellite Town Axis . The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Laboratory Technician with proven phlebotomy experience. The role requires accurate specimen collection, excellent patient care, and strict adherence to laboratory safety and quality protocols.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform venipuncture, capillary, and other specimen collection procedures safely and accurately.
    • Prepare blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory analysis.
    • Properly label and document specimens to ensure traceability and prevent errors.
    • Handle, store, and transport specimens according to standard operating procedures.
    • Assist patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and reassurance.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the collection area and equipment.
    • Record patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
    • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens.
    • Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.
      Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

    Qualifications

    • Registered Nurse (RN) or Laboratory Technician with relevant certification.
    • Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience.
    • Strong knowledge of standard phlebotomy procedures and safety protocols.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
