- Oversee the accuracy of financial data entry and record-keeping.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
- Depreciation calculation.
- Calculation of actual profitability and return on inventory
- Monitor any discrepancies in payment and record any returns.
- Organize a financial filing system that is easily accessible.
- Prepare accounting reports to be presented to senior management monthly.
- Track all payments made for tax preparation.
- Ensure that all clients receive their refundable deposit on time.
- Preparation of the company's monthly and yearly budget.
- Assist with Inventory Management.
- Managing daily accounting tasks.
- Update accounts receivable.
- Update accounts payable.
- Review expenses.
- Remit all VAT payments.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures and controls.
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Assist with external audit.
Requirements: - Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- More than 3 years of experience as an accountant.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in accounting software, Zohobooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
