Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage and maintain accurate inventory records and ensure efficient stock handling across our operations. The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring stock while ensuring proper documentation and compliance with inventory procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and able to maintain accurate records while supporting smooth warehouse and store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory received and issued.
  
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
  
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of items in the store.
  
• Issue materials or products based on authorized requisitions.
  
• Track stock levels and report low, excess, or damaged inventory in the store.
  
• Conduct regular stock counts and support periodic physical inventory verification.
  
• Monitor expiry dates and report slow-moving or obsolete items.
  
• Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of inventory to prevent loss, damage, or theft.
  
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the store area.
  
• Collaborate with the accounts and procurement officer for inventory reconciliation.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal control procedures.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse operations is an advantage.
  
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or ERP systems is an added advantage.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  
• Good record-keeping and reporting ability.
  
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability.
  
• High level of integrity and responsibility.
