Position Summary

The Manager, Data & Performance is a senior leadership role responsible for driving Gamma Mobility's enterprise-wide data intelligence and performance management systems.

This role will lead the development of scalable analytics frameworks, oversee business-critical KPI governance, and partner with executive leadership to translate data into measurable operational, financial, and strategic impact.
The Manager will also champion the organisation's evolution toward predictive analytics, strengthening performance visibility, automation, and continuous improvement across all business units.

Key Roles and Responsibilities  

1. Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance

• Lead the organisation's data and performance intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and growth goals.
  

• Establish enterprise-wide data governance standards, including metric definitions, validation controls, documentation, and reporting integrity.
  

• Serve as the business owner of critical performance datasets across operations, finance, fleet, platform, and people analytics.
  

• Drive adoption of a single source of truth for leadership reporting and decision-making.
  

2. Performance Intelligence & Executive Reporting

• Own and continuously evolve Gamma Mobility's enterprise KPI framework and performance reporting architecture.
  

• Oversee the design of executive dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting systems using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Redash etc
  

• Provide strategic insights through deep performance reviews across key metrics such as:
  

  • Vehicle uptime and utilization
    

  • Repayment and portfolio health
    

  • Recoveries and risk trends
    

  • Onboarding and activation rates
    

  • Regional and cohort performance
    

• Lead delivery of board-level performance reporting, investor analytics, and quarterly strategic business reviews.
  

4. Business Performance Improvement & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Act as a strategic partner to Operations Excellence, Finance, Strategy, and Business Unit Leads to drive enterprise performance transformation.
  

• Lead deep-dive root cause analyses to identify systemic gaps, inefficiencies, and high-impact improvement opportunities.
  

• Translate analytical findings into clear executive recommendations and measurable interventions.
  

• Track execution of performance initiatives, quantify impact, and refine strategies based on outcomes.
  

5. Data Infrastructure & Analytics Team Leadership

• Collaborate with Technology, and Product teams to strengthen data pipelines, integrations, and automation maturity.
  

• Define analytics requirements for new systems, tools, and operational processes.
  

• Lead and mentor a growing team of analysts, fostering best practices in analytics, storytelling, and business impact delivery.
  

• Promote a culture of performance accountability and data-driven execution across Gamma Mobility.
  

Requirements

Requirements, Skills and Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  

• 7+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, performance management, or data strategy roles.
  

• Proven leadership experience managing analysts or cross-functional performance programs.
  

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex enterprise datasets.
  

• Expert-level capability with BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  

• Strong understanding of KPI governance, performance frameworks, and operational analytics.
  

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence executive decisions through data.
  

• Strong communication and executive presentation capability.
