Spleet is a property technology company redefining how people rent,
manage, and invest in real estate in Africa. We provide seamless solutions
for landlords, property managers, and tenants through our innovative
property management system and rent financing tools.
Role Purpose
We are seeking a Business Development Sales Executive responsible for
driving revenue growth through outbound sales, pitching Spleet's property
management technology, and converting prospects into paying clients.
This role focuses on landlords, property managers, institutional real estate
players, and developers. The ideal candidate has a real estate
background, tech selling experience, and thrives in a target driven
environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
∙Identify and qualify prospective clients within target segments
(landlords, real estate companies, property managers).
∙Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads through calls, email
campaigns, and networking.
2. Sales & Pitching
∙Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective clients daily to
introduce Spleet's property management technology.
∙Deliver clear, compelling sales pitches that communicate the value
of Spleet's solutions to different audiences (landlords, real estate
firms, developers, facility managers).
∙Conduct virtual or in-person product demos tailored to client needs,
showcasing key features and benefits.
∙Handle objections confidently and articulate ROI (Return on
Investment) for prospective clients.
∙Maintain a consultative selling approach, understanding client pain
points and aligning Spleet's offerings as the solution.
3. Sales Conversion & Deal Closing
∙Develop tailored proposals and presentations for client needs.
∙Negotiate terms and close deals while ensuring profitability and
customer satisfaction.
∙Follow up consistently to move prospects through the sales funnel from initial contact to deal closure.
4. Relationship Management
∙Build strong, long-term relationships with decision makers and influencers in the real estate industry.
∙Maintain regular engagement to drive upselling and referrals.
5. Reporting & Documentation
∙Maintain accurate sales records in the CRM.
∙Provide weekly sales reports (calls made, demos booked, deals closed, revenue booked).
6. Market Feedback
∙Gather and share client feedback with product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
Required Competencies
∙Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Nigerian real estate and property management processes.
∙Sales Expertise: Proven success in sales or inside sales, preferably in SaaS or proptech.
∙Tech Proficiency: Ability to use CRM systems, virtual presentation tools (Zoom, Google Meet), and digital communication platforms.
∙Negotiation & Persuasion: Excellent objection handling and deal-closing skills.
∙Communication: Clear, confident, and persuasive in both verbal and written formats.
∙Self-Starter: Highly driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable with limited supervision.
Compensation Structure
∙Base Salary: #500, ,000
∙Commissions: Attractive, performance-based structure on closed
deals and revenue booked.
∙Bonuses: Annual incentives for over-performance.
