    Description

    JOB PURPOSE
    We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teacher to join our international secondary school.

    As a Spanish Language Teacher in our school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students from various cultural backgrounds.

    Our school uses the National Curriculum for England and Wales that promotes academic excellence.


    OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE


    This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to diverse teaching styles to create a stimulating learning environment.


    RELATIONSHIPS


    This is a positive relationship between the teacher and the student in efforts to gain trust and respect from each other.


    This relationship may consist of getting to know your students better, providing choice and encouraging the students to become stronger learners everyday.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons plan that align with the school's curriculum guidelines
    Provide individualized attention and support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
    Assess student progress and performance through a variety of methods, such as exams, projects, and presentations
    Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
    Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development
    Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles
    Assess student progress and provide regular feedback on their academic performance
    Collaborate with colleagues to develop and evaluate educational materials and resources
    Support students in their social and emotional well-being
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and attendance
    Communicate regularly and effectively with students' parents or guardians regarding their academic progress and development
    Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and grades

    REQUIREMENTS
    Strong knowledge of the (Spanish) curriculum
    Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
    Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in students
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Ability to adapt to different learning styles and differentiate instruction accordingly
    Strong organizational and time management skills
    Proficiency in English (additional language proficiency is a plus)
    Good understanding of cultural differences and willingness to navigate and embrace diversity
    Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    Dedication to professional growth and continuous learning
    QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

    Valid International Teaching Certification

    Minimum of [5-10] years of teaching experience at the secondary level in an international school or working with diverse student populations

    Strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum and teaching methods.
