    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of sophisticated web applications using Java and Spring Boot.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient back-end components;
    • Implementing security and data protection solutions;
    • Coordinating with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions;
    • Participating in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups;
    • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in AI, especially large language models.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
    • Experience in Java 17 and Spring Boot;
    • Solid knowledge in Hibernate and Hibernate queries and SQL;
    • SQL databases (ArangoDB is a plus);
    • Basic knowledge of Templating Engines like JSP, Thymeleaf, or Freemarker;
    • Solid knowledge in Bootstrap CSS framework 4 and above;
    • Profound knowledge in REST, Json, XML, and CSS;
    • Knowledge in Grafana, Prometheus, ELK is a plus;
    • Excellent problem-solving skills;
    • Strong unit test and debugging skills;
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools;
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities;
    • Significant experience with Large Language Model (LLM) is a MUST.
