Our client is a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Nigeria. Due to expansion, they are in need of a Ladder Chef.

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals under the supervision of senior chefs.
  

• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs.
  

• Ensure that all food items are prepared in compliance with the hotel's hygiene and safety standards.
  

• Support the kitchen team across various stations, including sauces, garnishes, and side dishes.
  

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the workstation at all times.
  

• Assist with receiving, checking, and properly storing deliveries of food supplies.
  

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow during service hours.
  

• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages to supervisors.
  

• Adhere to HACCP, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Culinary Arts, Catering, or related field.
  

• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in a five-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
  

• Strong understanding of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
