- Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts on various platforms.
- Contribute to the development of communications materials such as newsletters, brochures, and reports.
- Conduct research on social media trends and audience engagement strategies.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
- Assist in organizing and promoting virtual events and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the communications team on content creation and campaign planning.
- Suggest other innovative ideas for effective reach mobilization to reach the target audience
- Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to align with Organization goals.
- Create, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Suggest and implement new features to promote advocacy work
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Provide administrative support to the communications department as needed.
Requirements: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing social media accounts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with design tools and content creation software is a plus.
- Passion for women's rights, social justice and storytelling.
