    Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts on various platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of communications materials such as newsletters, brochures, and reports.
  • Conduct research on social media trends and audience engagement strategies.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting virtual events and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the communications team on content creation and campaign planning.
  • Suggest other innovative ideas for effective reach mobilization to reach the target audience
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to align with Organization goals.
  • Create, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
  • Suggest and implement new features to promote advocacy work
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
  • Provide administrative support to the communications department as needed.


    Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate expertise in managing social media accounts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with design tools and content creation software is a plus.
  • Passion for women's rights, social justice and storytelling.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
  • Safeguarding: The post holder is required to carry out duties in accordance with VFN anti-harassment policy.
  • Health and Safety: The role holder is required to carry out duties in accordance with VFN Health and Safety policies and procedures


    Location: GRA, Osogbo, Osun State Nigeria.


    Date of Joining: 1st May, 2024


    Probation Period: 3 months


    Contract duration: one year
