I have over two years of hands-on experience as a Personal Support Worker, providing compassionate, person-centred care to seniors and individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, mobility issues, and complex health needs. My background includes working in home care, hospital, and community settings where I support clients with daily living activities, medication reminders, fall prevention, emotional support, and infection control. I’m certified in Home Health Aide, Basic Life Support, and Palliative Care, with a strong focus on preserving dignity, comfort, and independence.

I have completed specialized training as a Home Health Aide, with a strong focus on resident rights, effective communication, infection control, ADLs, dementia care, fall prevention, and medication assistance. I’m also certified in Basic Life Support (CPR, AED, and bleeding) and Palliative Care, with skills in culturally safe, trauma-informed support for individuals and families during end-of-life care. Additionally, I have training in persuasion strategies to build trust, communicate effectively, and influence positive outcomes in caregiving environments.
