I fell in love with the power of code when I first changed the look of my entire WordPress blog with one line of code (what I thought then were bunch of random characters).

I went from adding StackOverflow code to change the color of a button to building full-blown web apps by combining different WordPress plugins. One of these apps was a payment app for tuition payment (EdFees) used by my school (where I was a teacher) and few others.

But when I built a SAAS e-commerce app (ChatCart) and had to use a gazillion plugins with WordPress MultiSite, I knew I needed to be technical. And during an interview with 'Startup Wise Guys' for potential investment, one of the interviewers asked "Why would you go to the extent of patching up countless plugins just to build an MVP? Why not learn to code?". It got me thinking. And here I am.

I believe learning to code is the best decision of my life. What I love most about coding is how tangible it feels to build software one piece at a time, how powerful it is to build amazing things from nothingness and how rewarding it is to solve problems with technology.
