Uchechukwu Okezie James

In my experience in healthcare settings, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient vital signs, mobility support, ambulating, bed making,  maintaining patients and personal hygiene, assisting doctors and nurses in daily ward round checking, environmental safety and providing emotional support to patients and being compassionate and empathetic in relating with my patients and their families. In my current role at my facility,  I worked closely with a diverse patient population and team, where I honed my ability to communicate effectively and build trusting relationships while maintaining a good working environment with patients and their families.

I have higher diploma in marketing and also an NVQ level 3 diploma in health care assistant, Adult social care, patient care and hygiene, support worker, manual handling, First Aid and CPR, Basic life support and health safety and environment. Currently, I am working as a health care assistant at Quick Health Specialist and diagnostics hospital LTD, Umuahia Abia State, Nigeria. I have acquired basic theoretical and practical knowledge in healthcare administration and services, diseases and infections control.
