Responsibilities   
• Coordinate the Hygiene promotion (HP) and community mobilization (CM) activities according to strategy, proposals, budgets and plans   
• Participate in wash coordination meeting in LGA and other wash partners in sister organizations.  
• Design BOQ for latrine showers and borehole construction reticulation and water point design. 
• Hold regular meetings with WASH Committees and WASH maintenance team to discuss identified key risk practices and support the team of WASH Committees to plan and carry out appropriate community mobilization activities to promote safe practice at LGA level.  
• Lead the implementation of the following activities:    
• House to house visits, community meetings, and conduct focus group discussions/sessions on hygiene promotion and cholera preparedness and response  in IDP camps and host communities.  
• Behavior change campaigns in the communities, camps, health facilities and schools.  
• Conduct community lead total sanitation CLTS through regular community-wide environmental cleaning campaign.  
• Promoting safe waste disposal mechanism to eliminate risks of vectors and maintaining the hygienic conditions of water points by eliminating contamination sources.  
• Conduct training on chlorine application, Jerry can cleaning campaigns and other activities on safe water storage and treatment.   
• Conduct Hand washing campaign and other sanitation projects in market areas through market based sanitation MBS.

• Latrines monitoring and mobilize users on cleaning and maintenance   
• Support IOM in the gathering of baseline data, profile of beneficiaries, and WaSH needs of the affected community. Information collected must be reliable/trustworthy and accurate.    
• Synergize and act as link between IOM’s WASH, Shelter, DTM, PSS and the affected population at camp/community level.   
• Assess the needs and resources of IDPs in terms of basic WASH needs with participation.    
• Notify challenges and changes during project implementation ahead of time.    
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on time using standard format.    
• the WASH  Manager in all aspects of HP and CM programs planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

• I introduced the use of market based sanitation MBS as a means for wider coverage of hygiene promotion in commercial areas.  
• I built capacity for Operation facilitators, and washcom volunteers through regular training and supervision.  
• I introduced Jerry can cleaning campaigns in IDP camps and host communities and other safe water storage practices. 
• I designed and supervised the construction of 107blocks of VIP latrines and shawers in NYSC camp and Muna moforo camp. 
• I supervised the drilling of 300m borehole construction with reticulation and fetching points  in benishek GSS camp. 
• I created hygiene clubs in schools and used it as a means of teaching menstrual hygiene and basic hygiene.  
• I eradicated open dedication (OD).  
• I used community lead total sanitation CLTS to reach a wider community audience with safe hygiene messages with assistance from community heads  
• I dislodged over 1000stance of latrine 
• I established and maintained hand washing point in 97different locations
