I have experience in the humanitarian sector as I have had the opportunity to serve displaced populations, specifically IDPs in Borno State and some parts of Kaduna State through involvement in data collection and distribution of relief materials and fleet management. I recently led a team to successfully implement a FAO project on training and mentoring of 52 agro-input and processing enterprises/cooperatives in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States. This resulted in the provision of livelihood opportunities to the most vulnerable and gave them a sense of dignity.  I further supported the team to prepare project reports through drafting and submission to management for donor review. I further supervised and monitored the distribution of various relief materials to the indigenes of one LGA in Kaduna State by successfully handling the acquisition and transport of non-food items from the vendors to temporary warehouses and finally, to beneficiaries during an emergency. I also prepared distribution plans and drafted activity reports resulting in timely support to the beneficiaries as well as accountability to the donors. I recently supported a needs assessment in 12 LGAs within Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States informing targeted assistance based on population priorities. In these roles, I was charged with responsibilities/duties that demonstrate my knowledge of matters procurement and the experience in North-eastern and North-central Nigeria clearly proves my ability to work and thrive in complex and volatile humanitarian contexts, including in emergencies.

In my previous roles, I also contributed research, communication, data management, coordination, teamwork, program management and business improvement. I was responsible for the management of the fleet at Green Hybrid Multi concept services limited where I covered the fleet, spare parts store and workshops ensuring that the standard operating procedures were followed in carrying out the routine maintenance and checks in the vehicles. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritising/managing projects with proficiency being that I am in tune with new developments in my field. I have proven to be effective and collaborative with strong leadership skills. The above among other skills and accomplishments is evidence of my ability to manage and deliver on multiple competing priorities. I possess training and presentation skills and I am an excellent communicator in both written and verbal English evidenced by report writing skills. Additionally, my Fluency in local languages including Hausa and Gbagyi will prove an asset to your organization.

I am honest, efficient, effective, credible, proactive, innovative, determined and possess excellent negotiation skills that have contributed to proper management of resources. I am also eager to learn. My work experience and personal abilities will prove valuable.
